- The Indian Astronomical Observatory
Operated by Indian Institute of Astrophysics in Bangalore, The Indian Astronomical Observatory has one of the world’s most noteworthy spots when talking about optical, infrared and gamma-ray telescopes. Built at an elevation of 14,674 feet, it is presently the second most astounding observatory on the planet. It is located on the south-east side of Ladakh at a place named, Hanle. Reaching here requires a 10-hour drive from the capital city of Ladakh, Leh. Coming back to what it has to offer?
