New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson rattled India’s batting order on the WTC final Day 2!
The bowler is now the talk of the latest breaking cricket news as he was successful in dismissing rival skipper Virat Kohli. He feels any batsman could have been removed, with the in-swinger that made Kohli return to the stands.

Jamieson recorded a five-wicket haul as New Zealand dismissed India for 217 on Day 3 of the WTC final test and then scored 101 for 2, at the end of the play. Asked if introducing outs wingers against Kohli and then bringing one back as they did in New Zealand is a template the team has, Jamieson replied in support.
“Oh, I guess yes. Maybe there is some sort of pattern and this we know talk about a huge amount, the one that I was able to get him (Kohli) today certainly seamed back a little bit,” Jamieson told at the virtual post-day press conference.
“And that was pretty hard to control as a bowler and pretty harder to manage as a batter no matter who you are. So I don’t think it is necessarily just for him (Kohli),” Jamieson said.
The young speedster, who recorded the score of 5-31, said that Kohli’s dismissal was a key event as to how things would pan out on the second day.
“Yeah, obviously he (Kohli) is a massive part of their team and pretty big wicket to get, so to get him pretty early morning, was I guess was nice and pleasing and pretty crucial for how the day followed,” he added.
The right-arm pacer was positive that Kohli’s technique has no visible glitches.
“Oh, not really I think, he is (Kohli) a world-class batter and those guys don’t tend to have too many chinks in their Armory. He is obviously a massive part of their line-up and to get him early certainly set things up nicely for us,” he added.
Jamieson expressed his satisfaction to get the ball to wobble and keep Kohli under control, as the Indian skipper got only a single boundary in his 132-ball innings.
“It is pleasing in terms of for myself trying to wobble the ball and try and keep him in check a little bit and to get that was pleasing and it was a great start for our day, “the bowler ended the interview with final comments.
As per the Cricket news today on Sports 247, Jamieson suspended India’s innings with figure’s of 22-12-31-5 with the support of Neil Wagner’s contribution (15-5-40-2) and the artful spell of Tim Southee (22-6-64-1) and Trent Boult (21.1-4-47-2).
It won’t be wrong to assume that the 6 feet 8 inch tall Jamieson, after last year’s series in New Zealand, has turned once again into a nightmare for the Indian batsmen.
